Grateful March {super easy} Instagram Challenge

Practicing gratitude has been proven through science to actually rewire the way our brains think (just google science of practicing gratitude - always check your sources!). It also helps us live more in the present moment by appreciating what we have & putting our attention there, shifting it away from what we want or feel like we lack. I've read some pretty incredible stories revolving around a simple gratitude practice & got to thinking, what might look different in my life after intentionally practicing gratitude for a month straight?

​Here's how to join:


1. Use the hashtag #GratefulMarch2017
So I can follow along with you!

2. Practice nightly, post either a nightly or weekly summary
I have personally chosen to go with a nightly practice because I believe this way it's easier to think of new things you're grateful for from your day.

3. List 3 things you feel grateful for & a brief WHY
This WHY is how the brain starts to actually rewire itself.

4. Note any changes along the way
Paying attention to any differences in your life, any awareness it has brought to you, new ways you're interacting with people, or anything you notice!

5. TAG me in your grateful photos
​{Actual tag in your photo, not just using my handle in your caption, this way I will for sure see it} & I will randomly select THREE participants at the end of the month to send a little gift to.
